Note to Christopher Kilby, 1747?

Note written in London from unknown person to a Mr. Kilby. The note relates an urgent need of a bondsman, who must be a "London Housekeeper," before the author can be given a salary by a society whose full name is not given in the note. The note indicates that this need was explained to the author by a society official, Dr. Bearcroft. (This is possibly Philip Bearcroft, 1697-1761, and the unnamed society is possibly the Society for the Propogation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts.)
